The 2026 Symphonic Orchestra Concerto Festival features 31 music students performing a variety of repertoire from beginning Vandall concertos to masterful Rachmaninoff movements. This year, our soloists will perform on piano, violin, cello, and flute!
We are excited to welcome Dr. James Welsch to the podium to lead the TMC Orchestra for the first time. Dr. Welsch is Music Director of the Tacoma Youth Symphony and is an active guest conductor, adjudicator, master class teacher, and festival conductor.
