This is a friendly reminder that registration for the 2025 Concerto Festival is closing in just a few weeks! If you’re a student musician interested in performing a concerto with a professional orchestra, don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary event.
This year includes two festivals: April 1-5 for works with string orchestra only, and May 13-17 for pieces that include a full orchestra of strings, winds, brass and percussion. Registration is open now through March 10th. Registrations will be limited to the amount of rehearsal and concert time available, on a first-come, first-served basis. So register early to have the best chance at securing your spot!
If you are performing a work with string orchestra we request that you participate in April. If you are not available in April, you may register for the May event. Works with full orchestra will only be available to be performed in May.
Festival Dates:
- String Orchestra Festival – April 5, 2025, at Christ Episcopal Church (Concerts at 2 PM and 5 PM)
- Symphony Orchestra Festival – May 17, 2025, at Schneebeck Hall, University of Puget Sound (Concerts at 2 PM and 5 PM)
Performing in the Concerto Festival is an amazing opportunity to showcase your talent alongside a professional ensemble, and it’s a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
The deadline to register is fast approaching!
Concerts are free to attend, and a suggested donation at the door helps support access to the arts for all musicians. Whether you’re performing or simply attending, we look forward to seeing you there!
Don’t miss your chance in the spotlight—register today! Registration will close on March 10, 2025.
