Are you interested in performing with the Tacoma Music Collaborative Orchestra?
We are always looking for musicians to fill our roster for TMC events. You might be a fit if you:
- Want to be involved with TMC events but don’t consider yourself a soloist
- Enjoy performing with a group of fellow musicians
- Want extra orchestral experience
- Are looking for a short gig for 1-2 weeks
- Want to support talented student musicians in the Tacoma area
All orchestral instruments are needed at TMC events, particularly for our Concerto Festival.

Advanced high school musicians through professionals are welcomed. It is an intensive process (bring good playing chops!) but you will have the opportunity to share the joy of live, collaborative music with students young and old, new and experienced, as they take center stage. In addition, you will be compensated for your time.
Pieces range from string ensemble to full symphonic orchestra, and includes composers such as Chopin, Grieg, Liszt, Mozart, and others as well as occasional opportunities to perform newly composed music.
