The 2025 Concerto Festival with full symphonic orchestra is this Saturday! As always, concerts are free to the public with suggested donation. The festival will be hosted at Schneebeck Hall, University of Puget Sound (UPS) in Tacoma.
We present two concerts this year that will make up the 2025 Concerto Festival on May 17th at 2 PM and 5 PM filled with hardworking student musicians performing works by Beethoven, Bruch, Elgar, and more. Soloists will perform piano, violin, flute, and more! Concerts are free to attend.
Consider Supporting the Festival!
Student registration fees only cover 30% of the costs of running this concerto festival. A donation today or at the door helps support access to the arts for all musicians. Your donation supports future concerto festivals as well as TMC’s other events like the Chamber Music Festival, private lesson instruction subsidization for students in need, public school coaching, masterclasses with professional-level instructors, and more.
TMC is also thrilled to accept donations of your time as a volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering on Saturday, please let us know. Roles are available for anyone wishing to provide an extra set of hands. We assign volunteers to roles based on their skills and abilities such as passing out concert programs, collecting donations, organizing rehearsals, and more.
Thank You to Our Partner UPS
As always, TMC is so grateful to UPS’s continued partnership and support. We host many of our concerto festivals and other events in Schneebeck Hall. The hall’s unique acoustics allow for great sound quality during rehearsals and performances, and provides a highly professional experience for our student musicians who are just learning how to perform their music onstage. When students move on to professional opportunities in the future, whether that be through music or other subjects, exposure to stages like this will help grow confidence for similar opportunities in the future.
We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Concerto Festival on May 17th at Schneebeck Concert Hall in Tacoma!
